Helpful Tips on Applying for School

Once you have decided on the schools you are interested in the next step is to start applying. The application process can be somewhat confusing so it is best to try and get as organized as possible.

Find out when applications are due. Each school may have a different deadline date so you will want to work on the applications that have the earliest due dates first. |

Allow yourself enough time to gather all of the necessary forms and transcripts. |

Request letters of recommendation from employers and teachers. Give them at least two weeks to write the letter and make sure you schedule to pick it up two weeks before the application is due. |

Write your admissions essays. Make sure you have someone proof read it before you send it in. |
| 5. |
Apply for financial aid. You will need to get additional forms. |
| 6. |
Mail your complete application packet. |
